T-FIT is headed by Carl Trotto. Carl founded T-FIT to provide in home personal training and training at private studio locations without membership fees or dues of any kind. He aspires to help people live better, healthier lives. His approach to training is based upon the belief that healthy bodies are strong bodies that move well and look great.
Carl is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and by the American College of Sports Medicine. He is also certified as a Kettlebell Coach and in the Functional Movement Screen, which is an assessment framework that is used by the U.S. Military; law enforcement agencies; and professional sports teams to screen for and address human movement patterns that relate to sports performance and injury prevention. Carl is also a graduate of the Equinox Fitness Training Institute, where he completed over 170 hours of classroom instruction & coursework.
Carl is a life-long fitness enthusiast who first developed a passion for fitness while boxing in youth organizations and in connection with training for high school and college athletics. His expertise encompasses a variety of training modalities, including strength training, sports conditioning, martial arts, aerobic & endurance training, and metabolic conditioning. Carl earned a B.A. from Middlebury College and received his graduate degree from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
